This week’s PR Twits feature a valuable mashup of 128 Tweets on PR, blogging, crisis management, media relations, news, PR jobs, social media, Twitter, writing, and more.
It was a busy week in Twitterville. PR posts included Edelman’s Trust Barometer, how to become a change agent, State of the Union address, 12 shiny new PR things and other public relations topics.
Blogging tips were valuable, especially Geoff Livingston’s list of 96 blog topics, as well as blog promotion and the top 50 marketing blogs. Crisis management posts looked at several online crises, the NFL, Toyota, the potential impact of Localeaks.com and seven crisis rules to remember.
As always, we’re loaded with media relations tips and practical media training advice. Topics included pay for play, several useful research studies, 15 reasons your media pitch sucks and tips on how to handle a bad media interviewer.
Our Tweets touched on Quora, several case studies, best practices, social media policy, and strategy. We had plenty of Twitter tips as well.
There are some particularly good writing posts this week. The debate continued about the value of news releases, how to write better press releases and tips for better writing for the web.
All in all, a pretty tasty week for the PR Twits. Want more resources on public relations and Twitter? You can see the most recent @thePRCoach Twitter stream on our home page or get hundreds of Twitter tips and tactics in The PR Library. As always, feel free to drop us a comment or suggestion on how we can make these PR Twits even more useful. Note Tweets with a W are PR Coach “winners” worth reading.
