by PR Coach

What the heck is a peripatetic PR Twit anyhow?

The peripatetic PR Twits are at it again this week. Bringing you another week’s worth of irresistible tweets for PR people including public relations, crisis management, blogging, PR jobs, social media, Twitter, writing and more.

No, the press release isn’t really dead and The PR Coach has 38 experts share news release best practices who say so.

In the blogging world, Jeff Bullas shares 10 blogging mistakes you can avoid; learn why your “About” pages matter from Heidi Cohen; and pick up 10 Simple, Sneaky or Engaging Ways to Open Your Next Blog Post with Pizzazz.

We have 16 posts on media training and media relations including: “Negative” press can be positive and The New York Times columnist David Pogue’s excellent advice on PR pitching.

This week, Twitterville was filled with comment on fashion guru Kenneth Cole and his tweet on Egypt. See our sections below on crisis management and PR Fails for much more on this issue.

In our news and journalism section, the launch of The Daily had plenty of attention, AOL’s media master plan got leaked; and WikiLeaks continued to get coverage.

As always, there was plenty of social media news for PR Twits with plenty of tips on Facebook, Quora, Twitter and other social media strategies.

That’s 106 tweets you can put your PR paws on right now.

Need more resources on public relations and Twitter? You can see the most recent @thePRCoach Twitter stream on our home page or get hundreds of Twitter tips and tactics in The PR Library.

As always, feel free to drop us a comment or suggestion on how we can make these PR Twits even more useful. Note Tweets with a W are PR Coach “winners” worth reading.
